DetailsHere we have a beautiful vintage brass Fleur de Leys style crucifix.
This fabulous little crucifix stands 33cm tall, 15cm wide and 7.5cm deep at its base and weighs 830g. It is of a French looking design with a fleur de leys cross atop a triple legged stand maybe referring to The Holy Trinity. The ends of each point of the cross finishes in a fleur de leys with a central 5 petalled flower inside. The centre of the cross is squared with a larger 5 petalled flower behind the head of Jesus. Jesus' crucified body hangs from the front of the Cross affixed by a screw from behind. The rear of the cross is decorated as the front. Just below the top fleur de leys is a bannered scroll in scripted INRI, which stands for the Latin Iesus Nazarenus Rex Iudaeorum (Jesus of Nazareth, King of the Jews)
These are highly sought after and collected and will be of interest to brass collectors, collectors of religious artefacts, religious organisations, narrow boat, or as a period drama prop brass being alike to gold in colour. -

Yes, we can arrange for you to collect form us and for some larger or delicate items we would prefer this. Just message us to arrange a convenient time for us all.
Can I have a quicker delivery
Yes, we can arrange for 1st class, next day etc where it is offered by Royal Mail. We would make an additional charge for this though so please contact us before purchase if it is not an available option. We are currently updating our postage options to allow this.
Wholesale availability
Most of our items for sale are 'one offs' being items that we come accross that we think you might find of interest so it is unlikely that we would be able to offer a wholesale service, however if we find a supplier of some good quality interesting reproduction items this may change.
Sizing details
We always try to give an idea of the size of any item we sell and if we can we will take photographs showing the size. We will always give sizes in centimetres.
