DetailsHere we have a stunning Cobalt Bristol Blue biscuit/cookie/sweet jar/barrel.
This fantastic rare jar stands 19.5cm tall, and is 11cm in diameter. The blue is a deep Bristol Cobalt blue which is beautifully complimented by the clear handle on the top of the lid and hand painted white and gold rings and flowers.
This would be perfect as either an elegant vase for a centre piece at tea table for some home made treats, or as beautiful ornamental Jar. It would be perfect for collectors of Bristol / cobalt glass, vintage tea shop or restaurant, or as period drama props.
There is a crack to the base which we tried to show in the pictures but it does not detract from the elegance of this rare jar.

As of May 2021 we no longer offer free postage. Postage is a cost regardless of whether it is offered as 'free'. We do include packaging in the item cost so the postage charged is just the actual postage cost. We prefer our customers to see what they are paying for the item and what they are paying for postage. We also offer two other paid options for quicker UK delivery. Although cheaper alternatives are available we have found them to be less reliable and use less care handling your items. The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
- Custom or personalized orders
- Perishable products (like food or flowers)
- Digital downloads
- Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
Conditions of return
Buyers are responsible for return shipping costs. If the item is not returned in its original condition, the buyer is responsible for any loss in value.

Can I collect from you.
Yes, we can arrange for you to collect form us and for some larger or delicate items we would prefer this. Just message us to arrange a convenient time for us all.
Can I have a quicker delivery
Yes, we can arrange for 1st class, next day etc where it is offered by Royal Mail. We would make an additional charge for this though so please contact us before purchase if it is not an available option. We are currently updating our postage options to allow this.
Wholesale availability
Most of our items for sale are 'one offs' being items that we come accross that we think you might find of interest so it is unlikely that we would be able to offer a wholesale service, however if we find a supplier of some good quality interesting reproduction items this may change.
Sizing details
We always try to give an idea of the size of any item we sell and if we can we will take photographs showing the size. We will always give sizes in centimetres.
