DetailsHere we have a beautiful art deco silver plate coffee pot.
This beautiful art deco coffee pot stands 19cm tall with the bowl being 13cm diameter. The spout is a classic san neck from the bowl and the handle is black Bakelite plastic the lid is hinged with no play and fits the pot perfectly as it should. The markings on the base name the maker as Cooper Brothers of sheffield and the date mark indicates 1910. This is a beautiful pot in excellent condition with no wear to the silver plate. This would be perfect for collectors or as a prop for a period drama.
Established in 1866 as Cooper Bros by Thomas Cooper and John William Cooper. Active at 14 High St (1850-1871), Don Plate Works, Bridge St (1872-1885), 44 Arundel St (1886-1983). The firm became Cooper Brothers & Sons Ltd in 1895. In 1914 the firm had branches in London, 54, Holborn Viaduct, E.C. Sydney (N.S.W.), Melbourne, and Montreal. In 1983 the business was acquired by Frank Cobb & Co Ltd. The firm used the trademarks DON SILVER, POMPTON SILVER and "cooper" (barrel maker) figural trademarks of various shape

Yes, we can arrange for you to collect form us and for some larger or delicate items we would prefer this. Just message us to arrange a convenient time for us all.
Can I have a quicker delivery
Yes, we can arrange for 1st class, next day etc where it is offered by Royal Mail. We would make an additional charge for this though so please contact us before purchase if it is not an available option. We are currently updating our postage options to allow this.
Wholesale availability
Most of our items for sale are 'one offs' being items that we come accross that we think you might find of interest so it is unlikely that we would be able to offer a wholesale service, however if we find a supplier of some good quality interesting reproduction items this may change.
Sizing details
We always try to give an idea of the size of any item we sell and if we can we will take photographs showing the size. We will always give sizes in centimetres.
